what do we make ?

We develop personal software (a.k.a FreeSurf^TM) and build global-wide infrastructures, offering Internet users secret and reliable channels to access websites which might be blocked or monitored by censorship that you may not be so comfortable with.

Another way to describe the stuff we make could be as follows. If you have difficulty to access some websites which are blocked by a (say narrow-minded ) authority, or if you don't like that others (e.g. your system administrators, your internet service provider, users who share the network infrastructure, and web content providers) could monitor/eavesdrop your surfing, the software and the systems provided here will offer you the most desirable solution:

Confidential: the traffics between your broswer and your selected websites are protected by encryption so that the confidentiality of your retrieved information is effectively prevented from being eavesdroped.

Reliable: comparing with the most common solutions, known as dynamic-ip based solution, the secure channels established by the personal software (named FreeSurf^TM) through the infrastructure, is much more reliable due to our advanced algorithm built in the infrastructure. Thus this make user's surfing not only securer, but also much easier and enjoyable since they don't have to frequently look for new unblocked IP which usually has a short live.

Anonymous: All the content from your selected sites will be retrieved by some proxies deployed over the infrastructure, and delievered to your broswer through the encrypted channel, therefore the information regarding your identification, such as IP address, is coverd. This infrastrucute makes browsing activities untraceable and anonymous.

Selective: It is perceivable that it usually takes more time to load a page through a proxy than to get the page directly. This is because when surfing though proxy, the content of a page will be loaded to the proxy first then be sent to the browser of the client. However, the websites for which need to use proxy to access are normally very few. FreeSurf thus is designed with a feature that users can add/remove the URLs of websites to/from a list, called "take-care-list". Accessing the websites whose URLs are in the list will go through the proxy, while the accessing to other websites will be direct without any detour though proxy. This selectivity offered by this function enables users have the flexibility to make decisions between their privacy as well as speed. On the other hands, the performance of proxies are improved because of the reducing of traffics.
